Daniel P. Greene, M.D.
Practice
Dr. Greene is a board certified ophthalmologist (American Board of Ophthalmology) specializing in cataract extraction with lens implantation, corneal transplantation, laser surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of corneal and external diseases of the eye. Dr. Greene uses toric intraocular lenses to correct astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery, and offers multifocal lenses to achieve uncorrected near vision after surgery. He performs examinations for routine eye concerns, diabetic screening, glaucoma, and corneal disease. Dr. Greene has office hours at our Midlothian and Innsbrook offices. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Education
Dr. Greene is fellowship trained in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, after completing a residency in Ophthalmology at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. He received both his medical and undergraduate degrees from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar.
Personal Interests
Dr. Greene grew up in nearby Chester, VA and graduated from Thomas Dale High School. In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife and three children.
