IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION
All Richmond Eye Associates offices are now open for appointments and optical shop visits. We look forward to seeing our patients.
Please call us at (804) 270-0330 for any urgent needs, or to schedule your regular or new patient eye exam.
The continued health and safety of each of our patients and staff remains our priority.
Face masks are required for everyone entering our offices for any reason. Your face mask must cover both your mouth and your nose. Please put on your face mask before you enter the building.
In advance of your appointment, we will be contacting all scheduled patients to undergo a telephone COVID-19 screening. You will also be screened when you arrive at our office.
Each patient should come into the office alone, with the exception of one parent accompanying a minor, or at most, one caregiver essential to assist with a patient. Other visitors and family members of patients will be expected to wait outside in their cars, for the duration of any appointment.
All physicians and staff at Richmond Eye Associates will continue to strictly adhere to guidelines for disinfecting the office and hand hygiene. Our staff and physicians are also screened, and we have many social distancing mechanisms in place.
Please remember that many of our patients are in an age group that is particularly at risk from COVID-19.
We may need to reschedule your appointment if you have been treated for COVID-19, if you have been recently exposed to someone with COVID-19, or if you live in a nursing home or other long term facility. Please let us know if you have recently had any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, new shortness of breath, new cough, loss of smell or taste, muscle pain or aching, new headache, sore throat, or GI symptoms such as diarrhea.
We appreciate your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you.
