What is New at Richmond Eye Associates:

• January 2008 -  After a brief hiatus, Lasik and PRK are now being offered again at Richmond Eye Associates with the recent addition of Dr. Bryan Brooks. He is fully trained to use the latest technology available to give you freedom from glasses or contact lenses. Using state-of-the-art laser technology, which includes CustomVue™ Lasik to improve vision, many patients may see better than they ever could before surgery, even with their glasses or contact lenses.

• Fall, 2007 - Richmond Eye Associates now offers new intraocular lens implant technology for the correction of presbyopia (multifocal lens implants including Restor and Rezoom) and astigmatism (toric lens implants) at the time of cataract surgery.
   

• Fall, 2007 - D. Alan Chandler, MD began providing free eye examinations to underprivileged individuals at the Aylett, VA Saint David's Clinic on a monthly basis.
   

• July 1, 2006 - Richmond Eye Associates welcomes Bryan M. Brooks, M.D. to the practice.  Dr. Brooks is now accepting appointments for patients at the Innsbrook Office.  Read about Dr. Brooks here.
   

• June 2005 - New Stratus OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography) units were installed at the Mechanicsville Office and at the Midlothian Turnpike Office.  The Innsbrook locations already have access to OCT.  This state-of-the-art device helps in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and retinal disorders.  Read more about OCT Here . . .
