Daniel P. Greene, M.D.
Dr. Greene is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract extraction with lens implantation, corneal transplantation, laser surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of corneal and external diseases of the eye. Dr. Greene uses toric intraocular lenses and limbal relaxing incisions to correct astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery. He performs routine eye examinations as well as those for the management of advanced corneal disease. Dr. Greene has office hours at our Midlothian and Innsbrook offices. Dr. Greene is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Greene is fellowship trained in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, after a residency in Ophthalmology at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. He received both his medical and undergraduate degrees from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar.
Dr. Greene grew up in nearby Chester, VA and graduated from Thomas Dale High School. In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing guitar, barbequing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
