     The "Amigo" represents a breakthrough in visual aids as it combines convenient portability with digitally enhanced magnification and crisp LCD screen technology.

     Enhanced Vision is a leading developer of innovative products designed to allow people who have lost vision from conditions such as macular degeneration and other low vision conditions to regain visual independence.

Specific Features of the "Amigo"

     The Amigo is easily used by simply just placing it directly on the material to be viewed and adjusting the magnification by turning of the dial. The Amigo has its own self-contained rechargeable battery and light source, and the screen can be tilted for ease of viewing.  Not only can printed material such as newspapers and books be read, but oddly shaped items such as price tags, restaurant menus, recipes, and photos can be viewed.

• The Amigo has a large 6.5 inch LCD viewing screen, is about 2 inches deep, and weighs only 1.3 lbs., leading to superb portability.

• Digitally enhanced magnification from 3.5 to 14X enables the user to leave the Amigo directly on reading material and adjust magnification.

• There are 6 viewing modes, including 2 color modes.

• There is an image-freeze mode.

• Screen tilting allows the user to view the image at a comfortable angle.

• The Amigo can also be connected to a TV for more magnification.
